Awarded to top brokerage firms and dealmakers in 62 markets across the country, the 2006 Power Brokers are a distinguished group of firms and brokers who conducted billions in leasing and sales transactions last year. Only a small percentage of all brokers and firms that were eligible for this highly coveted award were selected.

Sperry Van Ness Leasing has received the prestigious CoStar Power Broker of the Year Award for 2006. The award was spearheaded by brokers Roger J. Niez and Dave Bueche, each individual recipients of the Retail Power Broker of the Year Award based on 2006 retail leasing transaction volume.

The CoStar Power Broker Awards, now in their fifth year, recognize brokerage firms and individual brokers for their volume of sales and leasing transactions of office, industrial and retail properties in CoStar's database as of year-end 2006 as well as transaction data supplied by the companies and brokers in each of the 62 markets.
