Cheryl Cole joined the Sperry Van Ness team in July, 2007, with more than twenty years of property management experience in the Denver area. Starting out as a tenant services coordinator for Amerimar Realty, Cheryl soon found her niche within their construction company and later became construction manager for their 1.5 million square foot mixed-use project in downtown Denver. This afforded her the opportunity to concurrently manage numerous construction jobs ranging in size from a few thousand dollars up to $3 million.

Cheryl later transitioned into managing office buildings for Silverbrae Holdings, a local owner/manager in Denver. Working closely with two hundred tenants at a time has helped her hone her interpersonal skills and develop a low-key approach to conflict resolution that has proven to be equally beneficial to landlords and tenants.

Cheryl is adept at budgeting, cam reconciliation, and staff training. Construction management continues to be her favorite job, though, and she is enjoying the opportunity with Sperry Van Ness to rehab buildings and do tenant finish work throughout the Denver portfolio.

Cheryl graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in business education. She holds a Colorado real estate license and is an active member of BOMA in Denver. She has been married to her husband Lee for over 30 years. They enjoy spending time together working with a youth chorus, being involved with their church, and enjoying their grandchildren.
